Who We Are
Waypoint Church is a new church starting this fall in Northwest Las Vegas.
We are a non-denominational Christian church being planted by The Crossing and other partners to help people find and follow Jesus. Beginning this fall, we will gather on Sundays at Escobedo Middle School.
Waypoint is a church for real, imperfect people walking together with Jesus and helping others discover the life he makes possible.
In a world that feels scattered, confusing, and exhausting, we are longing for
truth we can build their lives on,
belonging where we can be known without pretending,
and purpose beyond simply getting through the week.
We believe that kind of life is found in Jesus.
Whether you are new to church, coming back after a long time, or looking for a church to call home, we would love to help you take your next step with Jesus.
Why the Northwest?
Northwest Las Vegas has grown rapidly in recent years. Communities like Skye Canyon, Providence, and Centennial Hills are now home to tens of thousands of people—but north of the 215 there is only about one Christian church for every 30,000 residents. We believe every community deserves places where people can encounter Jesus, find belonging, and grow in faith. That’s why we’re starting a new church in Northwest Las Vegas.
About the Pastor
Seth Philip and his wife, Megan, are planting Waypoint Church in Northwest Las Vegas. Before moving to Las Vegas, they spent nearly 15 years in Japan helping start new churches and walking alongside people from all kinds of backgrounds as they explored faith.
Now, along with their four kids, they’re glad to call Las Vegas home.
Seth cares deeply about creating a church where anyone can come as they are—whether they’ve followed Jesus for years or aren’t sure what they believe. Waypoint is a place to ask honest questions, build real relationships, and take a next step with Jesus.

Waypoint Open House
Come meet people in the community, enjoy free coffee and donuts, and get a first look at what Waypoint Church is building for the fall.
Join us for a relaxed morning at Escobedo Middle School. Beginning at 9:30 AM, you can tour the facility, explore our future Sunday gathering and kids spaces, meet others from the community, and hear more about this new church coming to Northwest Las Vegas.
Then at 10:00 AM, we’ll have a brief prayer and vision gathering where you’ll hear from our pastor about why Waypoint is starting and what we’re hoping to build together.
Bring the whole family—everyone is welcome.
RSVPs are appreciated and help us plan for coffee and donuts, but they are not required.

Uptown Jungle Fun ParkJoin Waypoint Church for a free morning of indoor family fun at Uptown Jungle Fun Park! Kids can jump, climb, slide, explore the ninja course, enjoy the toddler area, and more. Parents are welcome to play too!
Waypoint is covering the cost for everyone who registers through Waypoint. This includes a complimentary 2-hour play pass and Uptown Jungle grip socks for everyone who enters the play area, including adult helpers.
Please Register Everyone Who is Coming
Everyone attending needs to register through Waypoint so we can provide Uptown Jungle with an accurate guest list before the event. Please include all children and adults who will be attending, even if they are not planning to play.Complete the Waiver Before You Arrive
Everyone who enters the play area must have an Uptown Jungle waiver completed before playing. Adults 18 and older must complete their own waiver. Children under 18 must have a waiver completed by a legal parent or guardian.Please complete your waiver before arriving so check-in can move quickly. If your waiver is not completed in advance, you may lose part of your play time while completing it at the park.

Food and drinks are not included. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at Uptown Jungle. Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted by the venue.
Reserved Room
Waypoint will have a room reserved for taking a break and gathering throughout the event. The room seats approximately 40–50 people at a time.
Please note: the room is not secured, so please keep valuables with you.
This is not a private event. Uptown Jungle will also be open to the public during our event.
